Associate Digital Strategy Consultant

Location: London
Salary: £25k – £35k (DOE)

Martin Brass and Fred Bassett founded the company, as a digital consultancy, in 2002.  Our Mission has not changed – to make long term improvements to the performance of our clients’ businesses by providing innovative ideas and solutions.  Drawing on our core capabilities of research, strategy, user experience, analytics, project management and training; we build multi-disciplinary teams to deliver insight and strategy, innovation, support and optimisation services. Due to continued growth, we are recruiting an exceptional Associate Digital Consultant to join the team.

Responsibilities

Your main responsibility will be to support Consultants and Senior Consultants. Tasks are likely to be many and varied, typical examples include:

  • Helping set up and manage primary research including user experience
  • Conducting secondary desk research and analysis
  • Analysing and evaluating digital marketing performance and making optimisation recommendations
  • Helping to develop digital strategies and tactical recommendations
  • Implementation support – and providing clients with best practice advice and guidance
  • Project management – managing client stakeholders and third party vendors to implement digital marketing plans and activities

Abilities and Skills

  • An inquisitive nature – the ability to research, understand, evaluate options and solve problems
  • The ability to develop and discuss your own ideas and solutions
  • An understanding of fundamental digital platforms, marketing strategies and tactics
  • To feel comfortable presenting and selling strategic ideas to senior level managers
  • A demonstrable passion for digital business and marketing
  • Self motivation and the ability to work without close supervision, managing your own workload
  • Highly numerate and literate

Essential Experience

  • A Marketing or Business focused degree.
  • CIM qualifications are not required but would be a definite advantage.
  • A minimum of two years experience working in digital marketing either client side or in an agency or consultancy, Pharmaceutical and Healthcare experience is also desirable
  • Expert knowledge of major online marketing techniques including PPC, SEO, email, affiliates, social media, advertising, mobile, etc.
  • Awareness and understanding of web analytics and metrics
  • Experience of specifying websites and content briefs is optional but advantageous
  • Although not a technical role, basic understanding of online technologies (HTML, XML, etc) would be beneficial
